Do plants discern between kind and unkind words? Compliment Bot is a sculpture that grew from our curiosity, serving as a catalyst for inspiration and exploration that led to a development of this artwork. Our flower, which glows brighter with a compliment heard, serves as a plant designated to bring positive energy into a space.

Through this artwork, we aim to evoke feelings of joy and positive energy in viewers, while also encouraging a greater awareness of the power of small compliments in everyday interactions. In the long term, we envision this as a piece of furniture that subtly acknowledges and encourages positive language, prompting us to pay more attention to the uplifting impact of our words.

!!! SOUND ON !!!

The audience communicates with the bot by saying: "You look amazing today!"

In response, the bot begins to glow, lighting up in a way similar to someone blushing.
