Today’s high-pressure society does not allow people to rest or to even spare a moment to appreciate the beauty of the sky. To express my desire to liberate myself from the intense rigor of my school life, I painted a familiar view of my neighborhood as I get off the school bus, right in time for a sunset to explode in streams of pink and gold that contrasts the shadows of the black buildings looming over the streets below.
